Our bespoke drop arm awning (also known as a folding awning ) is a neat and versatile retractable/ folding sunblind, great for residential use as a home, garden or patio awning. It is a very cost-effective method of shading/screening and a sturdy, but lightweight system. Operating from a fixed pivot point, the arms drop is the same as the projection. If being used as a shop blind/canopy, signage can also be added which is a great way to personalise your awning.
These sunblinds can be stopped in the position required. If low lying sun is a problem, they can be extended, enabling shade to cover most of the window if necessary.
A slim, flush cassette, ensuring that the fabric and components are protected from the weather when retracted.
Framework powder coated standard RAL colour White (9010)
Fully adjustable pitch settings, for the ultimate sun protection, 365 days a year.
Choice of a scalloped or straight valance to suit
2 x 4mm tear resistant steel cables sheathed in highly flexible plastic material to protect against corrosion and damage.
Wind tested to European standards.
Operation of the awning available as either a ‘manual’ unit or ‘automated’ inclusive of a motor and radio-controlled handset.
