Resistance – Very good U.V resistance. Maximum efficiency against shrinking, tearing and stretching (stretches about 0.5% under tension).
Main Properties: It is a very stable fabric that doesn’t fade ( except for mid and bright red which do fade slightly). Permits passage of air (breathable) and handles well.
Wicking can happen, but only when its outer repellent coating is lost and in heavy rain, and when objects are touching the inside of the canvas (in this case we recommend reproofing with Fabsil to restore the repellency).
If the material has a lot of condensation on the inside, we recommend ventilating the cover to prevent this, excess condensation can allow mould growth (if this does occur, we recommend using the Iosso Mould & Mildew Stain Remover) a great product to clean and kill any mould or algae build-up)
Although this fabric is water-resistant, exposed to torrential rain, in direct contact with a wet surface and/or the out proofing coating has worn off, seeping can occur. This can be prevented with correct maintenance and regular proofing.
Good for boat covers, canopies and other outdoor and indoor protective covers. With a life span of ten plus years if used permanently outdoors.
