Heavy-Duty Dockside Covers for Renewable Energy Machinery

The Challenge

Acciona, a global leader in sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy, needed to protect large, high-value machinery stored at Tilbury Docks. The equipment faced prolonged exposure to harsh dockside conditions, including moisture, salt air, and extreme temperatures. The covers needed to be durable enough for long-term outdoor storage, while still allowing airflow to prevent condensation and corrosion. They also had to be easy to install, suitable for crane lifting, and aligned with Acciona’s sustainability goals by providing long-lasting, fit-for-purpose protection.
