Our expert design team will draw up your design using our latest CAD programme. You will be able to first view images of your desired product in 3D, enabling you to request modifications and approve the designs before your project is manufactured in our workshop by our highly trained technicians.
We have a dedicated collaborating prototype team who are dedicated and have a wealth of experience, Canvasman has developed thousands of different textile product solutions.
Canvasman uses portable Proliner equipment that can accurately map any surface shape or product into a digital 3D format. Once developed into a 2D or 3D design, it will then be used to create your specific product for manufacturing. We can provide a cutting service for most fabrics, or we can use our CNC machine to produce paper patterns.
Once the design team and you are happy with the design, we will manufacture a prototype of your sewn product. On completion this will be presented for approval, ahead of batch manufacture. As we have so much experience in prototyping, this process, is quick and easy and runs through our expereinced prototyping team. Saving you money, time and ensuring you’re 100% happy with your Canvasman product.
Canvasman can produce your prototype textile product from CAD drawings, concept sketches, we can 3D map on site with our Proliner, or we can just have a chat about what you are wanting to achieve. We will then follow the brief for whatever type of textile product you are wanting to develop and quickly produce your prototype.
Upon prototype completion we carefully review the exact manufacture time and materials, and review the estimates previoulsy provided. This ensure you get the best possible value for your new product. Further reviews are undertaken after batch production, to ensure the fairest possible price for your sewn product. We understand that the more cost effectively we can produce a product the more you can sell.
We’ll then cut your product using our state-of-the-art CNC technology so you can be confident it is 100% accurate.
We also train all of our machinists to measure precisely and ensure the stitching is consistently at the highest standard. We have 30 years experience cutting all types of textiles and our 2 CNC textile cutting machines have a variety of tools to handle cutting many types of fabric.
We have a large purpose-built facility, Our systems can handle small or large batch production of your textile products. We work with hndreds of different types of textile products and materials.
Whatever your product we are confident we can help you with a quality and reliable machining service. Our sewing machinists are trained to a very high standard of accuracy, which means your sewn products will be dispatched to a consistantly high standard and on time.
We have adaptive systems, processes and training schedules, which allow us to design, develop and manufacture new and existing products quickly.
Every product we establish with you will have a Specification sheet, a check list, Step by step manufacture drawings, a full CAD file and a cut file.
Lead times vary depending on the order or regularity, and the volume required, although prototypes and development can take a little longer we try to fast track this work where possible. We can forward schedule your orders into our system, ensuring your product is completed in time using our precise scheduling system.
